To welcome the new year, I took a look back on the wonderful year that 2013 was. Here it is in photos.

And, with the help of a bit of whisky, we even braved the freezing stadium to watch the All Blacks beat Scotland. ABs

With some friends, I enjoyed the food, I mean the sights, of Rome... Rome (21)

But a very happy welcome back to New Zealand, and most importantly, I arrived home a few days before my gorgeous nephew came into this world. Harry1

I love seeing my sister as an amazing Mum, her partner as a great Dad and my Mum as a wonderful Granny. But the very best part of being home has been seeing my nephew grow into the cutest little boy with the best smile ever. Harry2

This year also saw me taking photos for an Amnesty International campaign and meeting some incredibly inspiring people in the process (including Pathma, featured below whose story you can read here) Flame

I headed to Vanuatu to spend time with my amazing sister who lives on Tanna island. Tanna's sunsets were pretty incredible... sunset1s

Then it was off to Vila for Christmas where we found what remains of our old classroom... classroom
